Kane Family Foundation Inc. provides a merit-based scholarship program for Southern Colorado students through seven Southern Colorado schools—the University of Colorado Colorado Springs (“UCCS”), Colorado State University Pueblo (“CSU Pueblo”), Lamar Community College, Otero College, Pikes Peak State College, Pueblo Community College and Trinidad State College.

The merit-based scholarship program was made possible by the benefactors of the Kane Family Foundation—Wanden and Andy Kane of Fountain Colorado.  Each year the Kane Family Foundation awards approximately 40 new four-year and two-year scholarships and provides approximately $1.3 million dollars in scholarship funds to the seven participating schools to cover costs of these scholarship programs.
